Corrections, privacy requests, press and anything else. Every message is read by an editor.
Use the form below and your message reaches an editor. We read everything that comes in.
Please use the right route
It genuinely gets you a faster answer.
- Pitching an article? Read Write for us first and submit through the form on that page, not this one. Pitches sent here get redirected there anyway, which just costs you a few days.
- Reporting an error? Include the link to the article, the specific claim you are disputing, and a source if you have one. Corrections are the first thing we deal with each day.
- A privacy or data request? Choose that topic and tell us what you want: a copy of what we hold about you, a correction to it, or deletion. You do not need to give a reason, and we will not ask for one. What we hold is described in the privacy policy.
- Advertising or partnership? Choose “Press or partnership”. Please read advertising and disclosure first, because we do not sell links, paid posts or coverage, and those enquiries will be declined.
- A copyright complaint? Tell us which article, which material you believe is yours, and how we can verify that. We take unattributed reuse seriously and will remove anything that should not be there.
What to expect
We are a small operation, so here is an honest picture of response times rather than a promise we cannot keep:
- Corrections and privacy requests: handled first, usually within a few days.
- Everything else: we aim to reply within about a week where a reply is needed.
- Pitches sent to this form: we will point you to the submission form rather than reply in detail.
Every message is read by a person. Nothing here is filtered into a void.
