These terms cover your use of websarb.com, published by Arbsbuy LLC. By using the site you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be impenetrable.

Using the site

You may read, link to and quote Websarb freely. You may not republish whole articles, scrape the site at a scale that degrades it for other people, or present our material as your own.

Do not attempt to break into, overload or interfere with the site, and do not use it to distribute malware or unlawful material.

If you submit an article

By submitting, you confirm that:

• The work is yours, and you have the right to give it to us.
• It has not been published anywhere else, including your own site or profiles.
• It is not the output of an AI presented as your own writing.
• It does not infringe anyone’s copyright, defame anyone, or breach a confidence or a contract you are under.
• You have told us about any commercial interest behind anything you recommend.

Submitted articles are checked automatically for quality, spam, and originality. That may involve sending the article text to third-party services; which ones, and what is sent, is set out in the privacy policy.

Who owns what

You keep the copyright in your article. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish it on Websarb, to keep it published, to edit it for clarity, length and house style, and to promote it, including in our newsletter and on social media.

Non-exclusive means you may republish your own work elsewhere after we have published it. We ask that you wait a reasonable period and link back to the version here, but that is a request, not a condition.

You can ask us to take your article down. We will normally do so within a reasonable time. We may keep a record that it existed, and we are not obliged to remove it from third-party caches and archives we do not control.

Payment

We do not currently pay for contributions, and submitting an article does not create an expectation of payment. If that changes, it will be agreed in writing before publication, not assumed.

Editorial decisions

We decide what to publish. We may decline anything, for any reason, and we may unpublish an article that turns out to breach these terms. Submitting does not oblige us to publish, and publication does not oblige us to keep something up indefinitely.

Membership

Membership is a way of supporting the publication. It does not buy access to anything other readers cannot see. Websarb has no paywall and we do not intend to introduce one. What membership does is remove advertising for you and help pay for the writing.

Billing

• Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Membership is a recurring subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, at the price shown when you joined.
• If we ever change the price, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel rather than accept it.
• Prices are in the currency shown at checkout. Any taxes are handled at checkout.

Cancelling and refunds

• You can cancel at any time using the link in your Stripe receipt, or by asking us through the contact page. We will not make you argue with anyone to leave.
• Cancelling stops future payments. Your membership runs to the end of the period you have already paid for.
• If you cancel within 14 days of first joining, ask us and we will refund you in full, no reason needed.
• After that we do not routinely refund part-used periods, but if something has gone wrong, tell us and we will deal with it fairly rather than hide behind this paragraph.
• If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, nothing here removes your statutory cancellation rights.

Your membership link

We recognise members by a link we email you rather than an account and password. Treat that link as private: anyone who has it can use your ad-free reading. If you lose it or think someone else has it, contact us and we will issue a new one.

Ending a membership

We may end a membership and refund the unused portion if it is being abused, for example by sharing the membership link publicly.

Our content

Everything on the site that is not a contributor’s article, including the design, code and branding, belongs to Arbsbuy LLC.

Accuracy, and what our articles are not

We check what we publish, but articles are opinion and information, not professional advice. Nothing on Websarb is financial, legal, medical or tax advice, and you should not treat it as a substitute for advice from someone qualified who knows your circumstances. Views in contributed articles belong to their authors.

If you spot an error, tell us; we correct things and say what we corrected.

Links out

We link to other sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.

Advertising and our owner

Websarb intends to carry advertising. Advertising and sponsorship never buy editorial coverage, and anything commercial is labelled. The detail is on our advertising and disclosure page.

Arbsbuy LLC also runs the marketing agency Arb Digital. Where we link to it, the link is marked as sponsored. The agency has no say in what Websarb publishes.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it or from reliance on anything published here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.

Ending access

We may block access for anyone who breaches these terms, particularly for spam, scraping or abuse.

Changes

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the site means accepting the current version. Changes that affect paying members will be communicated to them directly before taking effect.
